Terms & Conditions

Tour Prices: 
All prices in this site (Sinai safari adventures.com, .co.uk and .net and our affiliates) are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing and on group rates of 1 passenger (customer) or more. Tours may depart with less than the required number of passengers, at the discretion of Sinai Safari Adventures, LLC (doing business and referred to herein as SSA) but an additional charge may apply. Passengers will be advised about such surcharges 3 days before departure of the excursion or trip. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, i.e.: changes in fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances. 

Reservations, Deposits and Final Payments:
Please complete the Site Membership form, with full names as they appear on passports, and email it to us (standard procedure included in the checkout process) with the required per person deposit. Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to these terms and conditions. Balance is due 1 day before departure date. If final payment is received less than 1 day, a late fee will be accessed in the amount of £25.00 (unless specified to SSA of your intent to pay by Cash on Delivery). If final payment is made by credit card ( Visa, MasterCard), Sinai Safari Adventures requires a completed credit card authorization form (included in PayPal) or have the card on hand with valid passport for identification. All payments should be made payable to Sinai Safari Adventures. We reserve the right to refuse payment for any reason.

Late Reservations: 
If a booking is made within 1 day of departure, full payment plus applicable taxes and optional insurance is due at the time of booking. There will be a £25.00 late processing fee applicable plus cost of any express travel arrangements. Credit cards ( Visa, MasterCard) will be accepted. 

Travel Documents:
A valid passport (valid for six months after the return date of the trip) is required to travel in Egypt. Visa is required for ALL passport holders travelling to some destinations; please contact our office for details. All non-Egyptian citizens must contact the appropriate consular office for entry visa requirements pertaining to their trip. In addition non Egyptian citizens are responsible for complying with requirements for re-entry into their country of origin. Sinai Safari Adventures assumes no responsibility for procurement of passport or visas. Obtaining and carrying these documents is the sole responsibility of passengers/customers. Sinai Safari Adventures will not be responsible for any delays, damages and/or losses, including missed portions of your trip due to improper travel documentation. 

Final Documents and Ticket or Vouchers:
All documents and Ticket or Vouchers are only issued upon receipt of final payment and are sent within 1 day of deposit, full payment or Cash on Delivery. Documents and Tickets or Vouchers are not guaranteed if final payment and booking form are not received on time.

Air Changes:
Airline Tickets issued through Sinai Safari Adventures are highly restrictive and in most instances cannot be reissued, revalidated or exchanged. If a change is possible, a £25 per person administrative fee, plus any applicable airline change fees, will be assessed once air Ticket or Vouchers have been issued. Airline penalties vary depending on carrier.

Cancellations & Refunds:
We hope that nothing will prevent you from taking your Sinai Safari Adventures  pilgrimage. However, should you need to cancel, your cancellation must be received in writing, via email only. It will be effective on the date of receipt. If you cancel your tour after you have received your documents and airline Ticket or Vouchers, you must return them to Sinai Safari Adventures before we can process your refund. Some excursions may be subject to cancelation fees. Fees for custom groups and tours may be different, please contact us for details. Sinai Safari Adventures reserves the right to cancel a specific departure date or whole tour due to lack of participation or for reasons beyond our control such as natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God or government restrictions. If such an unlikely event should occur, we will offer an alternate departure date or tour program. Should you decline an alternate date or should we cancel the tour outright, the limit of our liability to the customer is the entitlement to a full (100%) refund of the deposited or paid amount. We will not be liable, however, for costs incurred by you not paid to us, such as visas and passport costs, items of a personal nature, domestic transportation either by ground or air etc. nor will we be liable for any psychological damages, traumas, stress, disappointment, personal and financial loss resulting from our change of departure date or cancellation of a tour. Refunds are not provided for services included, but not used on a trip. If the customer or passenger is late for ( or missed) an excursion the customer is NOT entitled to a refund unless in the case of notification at least 3 days in advance to the Authorized Tour Leader/Operator of Sinai Safari Adventures. Please call us in advance of any foreseen problems with your travel.

Once the tours commence there will be no refunds on missed or unused portions of the tour programs.

Purchase of Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

Baggage:
We recommend that you take along one backpack, purse  or bag  per person with a maximum weight of 10kg, include items you may need for your trip i.e.: dive gear for boat trips or cameras, water, snacks for desert excursions. Our helpful staff will guide you for a packing list suitable for your needs in most cases. Airlines also have their own baggage restrictions; please check with the air carrier prior to your departure. All baggage is the passenger’s responsibility throughout the tour. Sinai Safari Adventures is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to your baggage. If a bag is lost or damaged, the passenger is responsible for notifying the Tour Leader/Crew Member immediately to help in identification, locating or repair of your baggage at cost to the customer. 

Airline Clause:
The airlines concerned will not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not aboard their aircraft. The passenger Ticket or Vouchers in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between airline and the purchaser of these Ticket or Vouchers and/or passenger. These tours may be sold in connection with the services of any ATC or IATA Airline. 


Medical Conditions:
While we endeavour to provide the highest level of service to all our customers, we cannot guarantee special facilities or assistance for disabled passengers and it is your responsibility to arrange for such assistance as required. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance Sinai Safari Adventures is not responsible for any medical conditions that may occur prior, during, or after the tour. 

Land Only Bookings & Tour Deviations:
All Sinai Safari Adventures packages include transportation from your selected Hotel or Airport. Land only bookings will be invoiced based on adjusted price. Arrival and departure transfers are not provided for land only bookings. Any deviations from the tour, requested by the client, will be assessed a charge of £25.00 per person, plus any additional costs the change may incur. 

Responsibility:
The tour member understands that he or she has no claim against Sinai Safari Adventures, and its affiliates, for any delay or damage to or loss of property or baggage or injury to or death of persons due to any neglect or wilful act of a direct air carrier, hotel, bus company, steamship or cruise company, railroad, transportation company or service company of any kind, or any other person or persons rendering any of the services being offered in connections with these tours. Further, Sinai Safari Adventures advises that it has no ownership interest whatsoever in any hotel, restaurant, bus company or transportation or service company of any kind outside of Egypt, nor does it have any employee outside of  Egypt except in the case of the UK. You may see the name Sinai Safari Adventures  affixed to motor vehicles, on signs around the hotel or elsewhere. This use of our name is purely for reasons of identification and does not denote ownership, supervision, or control by Sinai Safari Adventures in any way. Sinai Safari Adventures LLC, and its overseas representatives reserve the right without notice to change, amend or cancel any part or all of the tour and to make such changes as may be necessary.

Sinai Safari Adventures acts only as an agent in securing hotels, transportation and other travel services from suppliers, and in no event shall Sinai Safari Adventures be liable in the event of any failure by any person or company to render any transportation, lodging or other travel services to be provided on the tour. The acceptance of the initial service to be provided under the tour shall be considered an acceptance by the tour member of these conditions. If there is a difference between the conditions of Sinai Safari Adventures and those published by suppliers, the conditions of suppliers shall apply. Sinai Safari Adventures  reserves the right to substitute hotel, cruise ships, air carriers, transportation, limousines, excursions, boats and trips of similar quality, and reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/ or to re-route the order of cities or places of interest. In calculating the cost of the trip, Sinai Safari Adventures has relied on your consent to these terms and in the absence of this release, the cost of the trip would be higher. A contract is made when your reservation and payment are accepted by Sinai Safari Adventures and any dispute shall be governed by Egyptian law. We reserve the right to decline to accept a person, or remove a person form a tour, if such person presents a significant risk to the health or safety of himself or the group and the person cannot otherwise be reasonably accommodated. 

Not Included in the Published Price:
Airport taxes, border taxes, port taxes, and items not listed on each program such as meals, beverages and items of personal nature, excess luggage allowance, laundry, room service, travel insurance, passport and visas costs, shore excursions, expenses for additional sightseeing not specified in the itinerary, any incurred medical costs and replacement of items forgotten or stolen while on the tour, and gratuities (a list of suggested tips will be provided with final documents).

Prices in this website (www.sinaisafariadventures.com) and on our websites are accurate at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice due to changes in market factors including but not limited to foreign currency and supplier cost fluctuations.
Sinai Safari Adventures, LLC is a registered seller of travel in the State of S.Sinai, Egypt 

Important:
For security reasons and due to the measures taken by the authorities, airlines, boats, buses Taxi’s and Limousines require that the passengers name in the reservations (or Vouchers) must exactly match the name as it appears on the passport. Sinai Safari Adventures  is not responsible for denied boarding or re-issue costs due to an incorrect name supplied to us. Sinai Safari Adventures requests a copy of your passport picture page to ensure correct name on Ticket or Vouchers and documents.

Services and Safety 
We reserve the right, when necessary, to alter timetables, re-route vehicles and/or vehicle and/or vessels for reason of safety or stop them serving a pier or area, without notice.  Although any such action will be exceptional, we do not guarantee to operate any services in accordance with published schedules, or at all. 
You may use any of our vehicles and/or vessels if you have a Ticket or Voucher which is valid and available for your journey. Our services are often heavily patronised so we cannot guarantee to provide you with a seat, or accommodate you at all, on a particular vehicle and/or vessel or sailing or general transportation. 
For your own safety and the safety of others, you must follow instructions given by our Crew Member or Tour Leader when on board any of our vehicles and/or vessels . 
For safety reasons you must not smoke (except in designated smoking areas) or use roller skates, roller blades or skateboards on our vehicles and/or vessels  or any facilities controlled by us. 
The master may refuse to carry any passengers, or direct any passenger to disembark, where the behaviour of that passenger is liable to cause nuisance or offence to the other passengers or put at risk the safety of the passenger, other passengers, Crew Member or Tour Leader or vehicle and/or vessel.


Ticket or Vouchers
You must have a Ticket or Voucher, which is valid and available for inspection, for the journey being made. You must use it in accordance with these conditions and it must be returned to us as soon as you have finished using it if we so request. All Ticket or Vouchers remain our property. 
Our Ticket or Vouchers can only be used by the person for whom they were bought, or to whom they were issued, and cannot be resold or passed on for further use. This invalidates them. 
Where Ticket or Vouchers are available for travel on the services of more than one operator, the conditions which will apply to each part of your journey will be those of the operator whose service is being used. 
You must have your Ticket or Voucher ready for inspection at any time during your journey and you must hand it over for examination by a member of our Crew or Tour Leader, Police Officer or other authorised person if you are asked so to do. 
If you wish to travel outside the availability of your Ticket or Voucher, or before or after the times that it is valid, you will need to pay an additional fare. We reserve the right to require you to disembark if the additional fare is not paid. 
Children under the age of two may travel free of charge provided they are accompanied by the holder of a Ticket or Voucher and do not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a full-fare-paying customer. This facility is limited to a maximum of two children per Ticket or Voucher holder. Children aged 2 to 12 years inclusive may travel at the child rate except on certain services where it is advertised that no child fares are available. 
If you buy a Ticket or Voucher with a credit or debit card to which you do not have legal right, the Ticket or Voucher will be invalid from the date of issue and you will be liable to pay the full fare for any journey(s) made using that Ticket or Voucher. 
Whilst we try to ensure that all information, particularly times and prices, displayed on our web-sites are accurate errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a Ticket or Voucher you have purchased, we will try to inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your purchase at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you for any reason, we reserve the right to treat the purchase as cancelled. 
If you present a mispriced Ticket or Voucher at embarkation, we reserve the right to withdraw the Ticket or Voucher, cancel it and refuse travel unless and until another Ticket or Voucher has been purchased at the correct price for the intended journey. Cancellation under any of these circumstances will entitle you to a full refund of any sums you have paid. 
Replacement Ticket or Vouchers, refunds and compensation
If your Ticket or Voucher is lost, damaged or can no longer be read, we may, at our discretion, replace it free of charge, provided we can confirm that it is valid. In order to verify your purchase we will need your SSA booking reference which is contained in your confirmation e-mail and shown on the original Ticket or Voucher page. Please note that it is not possible to verify your Ticket or Voucher purchase with your credit or debit card reference because this does not contain the details of the Ticket or Voucher(s) purchased. 
We do not accept liability for any loss resulting from our failure to provide an advertised service, or where delay occurs to those services, for any reason. We may, however, at our discretion, consider a refund on any Ticket or Voucher which is unused or only partially used as a direct result of a failure on our part to provide the advertised service for which the Ticket or Voucher was purchased. 
Refunds will not be granted other than in the circumstances described in 2 above. 
All requests for refund or replacement Ticket or Voucher(s) must be made by email to ssadventures@live.co.uk and be accompanied by the relevant Ticket or Vouchers purchased.  Refunds cannot be authorised or transacted at any other location or by any other means.

Any refunds agreed will be made entirely at our discretion and without prejudice.

Suspected fare evasion 
We reserve the right to withdraw any Ticket or Voucher at any time although we will not do this without good reason. 
If we think that you have used or tried to use any Ticket or Voucher to defraud us we may cancel the Ticket or Voucher and not re-issue it. If this happens you will forfeit the right to any refund for the unused portion. If sufficient grounds exist for us to believe that you have attempted to defraud us, then we may instigate legal proceedings against you. 
Your Ticket or Voucher is invalid if we believe that it has been tampered with deliberately, or if it is damaged to such an extent that it cannot be read. In the case of suspected tampering, we will not replace it and you must surrender the Ticket or Voucher if asked so to do by a member of our staff.


Access
Not all of our vehicles and/or vehicle and/or vessels have been designed or adapted for passengers in wheelchairs. If you intend to travel on a vehicle and/or vessel which has not been so designed or adapted, you must satisfy yourself as to its suitability before embarking. 
When travelling on any vehicle and/or vessel not adapted for wheelchair access, if you use a wheelchair you must bring enough helpers to enable you to make your journey safely including getting on board the vehicle and/or vessel and leaving it at your destination. 
Even on vehicles and/or vehicle and/or vessels  designed or adapted for wheelchair access it may not be possible for you to sit in a wheelchair at a table and, for reasons of safety, you may be asked to move from your wheelchair into a fixed seat, in which case the wheelchair will be stowed in a safe place. 
Under no circumstances must wheelchairs obstruct any access to safety and life saving equipment, gangways, stairs or passageways.
 

Luggage, belongings and animals
For safety reasons, and for the comfort of passengers and other guests, we have to restrict the amount and type of luggage, including pushchairs and shopping trolleys, that you can take with you on our services. You may, at the discretion of the Crew Member or Tour Leader, take with you the following items, provided they do not obstruct access to safety and life saving equipment, gangways, stairs or passageways and are not put on seats: 
Personal luggage 
Pushchairs and buggies 

Other items provided they are not deemed likely to injure anyone.


You may not take on board vehicles, vessels: (without prior approval please)
Any item that is more than two metres long 
Hazardous or inflammable substances or any animals.
We reserve the right to restrict the carriage of any luggage when there is a need for increased security and to refuse permission for you to take any item at all on to a vehicle and/or vessel. 
If you are registered blind you can be accompanied by a guide dog and travel without charge. 
If you are registered deaf you can be accompanied by a hearing dog for the deaf, for which there will be no charge.


Lost Property
We deal with lost property in accordance with our lost property procedures, which are available for inspection on request. 
If you find any lost property on our vehicles and/or vehicles and/or vehicle and/or vessels  or facilities, do not touch it but please alert a Crew Member or Tour Leader member or Tour Leader immediately. 
If we think unattended property may be a security threat, the police or security services may be called to attend and the item(s) may be destroyed.
